Under what circumstances, if any, should the USA invade Iraq?

The choices and results from those responding to the question were:

The USA should invade Iraq only if Iraq had responsibility for the September 11 attacks. (29.45%)

The USA should invade Iraq if it refuses to allow in UN weapons inspectors. (26.93%)

The USA should invade Iraq just to remove Saddam from power. (15.75%)

The USA should not invade Iraq for any of the reasons above. (11.18%)

No opinion. (16.69%)

No Clear Consensus on Military Action Against Iraq
While Americans were almost unanimous in their support of the military campaign in Afghanistan, they is no unanimity regarding Iraq.

About half of those with opinions on the question of under what circumstances, if any, should the USA invade Iraq, feel that only if Iraq was responsible for the 9-11-01 attack or if Iraq refuses to allow weapons inspectors in should the USA invade Iraq. Smaller numbers (15.75%) take the extreme positions that America should invade Iraq just to remove Saddam from power.

On the other side 11.18% say that the USA should not invade Iraq for any of the reasons above.
