Periodically, this newsletter will highlight some of the more interesting results obtained from the polling conducted by LOTTOPOL.

How should Osama bin Laden be punished?

In a recent Lottopol poll, a question was:

How should Osama bin Laden be punished?

The choices and results were:

He should be executed. (47.32%)

Life imprisonment. (14.04%)

He should be forced to undergo a sex change operation and sent back to Afghanistan as a woman. (23.88%)

Other punishment written in below. (5.21%)

No opinion. (9.55%)

About half said he should be executed. However, the Taliban's treatment of women in Afghanistan may be why about a quarter of the Lottopol participants to say that he should be forced to undergo a sex change operation and sent back to Afghanistan as a woman.

Women receive particularly harsh treatment by the Taliban As reported in the Cortez Journal Online.<A HREF=" http://www.cortezjournal.com/edit409.htm "> www.cortezjournal.com/edit409.htm </a>

"In Afghanistan, single women who appear in public with a male who is not a relative receive 100 lashes - all in the name of Allah. Married women committing the same offense are stoned to death."

Comments from the Participants:

In the Lottopol Poll www.lottopol.com where participants receive free lotto tickets when they respond to poll questions, there is a space for comments or write in votes to be included. The 5.21% that chose "Other punishment written in below." Had various suggestions, some of which were quite gruesome and graphic. A few of the representative "write-in punishments" and comments are shown below:

Soak him in gasoline and burn him in the street beside the world trade center with world TV on him.

He should be tortured a long death to let him feel the pain innocent victims felt!!!!

Considering the 6,000 lives lost in the attack, and considering what we are going through with the Anthrax threat, there is no punishment under the sun that could ever compensate America for what has happened and what is continuing to happen,

we should keep him here and let the cons have him!!!!!!!!!

Only after his howls and screams of pain indicate that every trace of conscious being has been totally shattered, he should be put to death by permitting swine to devour him.

Slow torture

He & his associates should be locked in a building & told that a plane will be crashing into it...sometime.....................................

A wooden outhouse should be built. He would be placed in this outhouse and his penis and testicles would be nailed to the boards. Before you nail them down you would place an M80 firecracker in his butt with a 2-foot long fuse coming out in front of him after you nailed his penis and testicles to the boards. When this is completed you would give him a dull knife and then you would set the outhouse on fire. Eventually he would see the firecracker fuse light. He would have a choice on how to save his ass. Cut his penis and testicles off while the outhouse is on fire or watch the outhouse burn around him and watch the firecracker fuse light. One way or the other he loses!

When captured, he should be publicly castrated and let to bleed to death...slowly.

castrate him and shave him bald, then shoot him in the face and bring him to Afghanistan and require that every citizen there kick him in the head while his family watches. Thetas not as bad as I could make it though.

There is no proof of his guilt, and he shouldn't be arrested until there is a proof that he is involved in terrorist attack.

HOW CAN WE PUNISH ANYONE WITHOUT FIRST PROVING THEM GUILTY OR OTHERWISE ! WE'RE IN A CIVILIZED SOCIETY OR THAT'S WHAT IT'S SUPPOSED TO BE. AS IT IS, THIS CONTEMPLATIVE PUNISHMENT IS COUNTER TO OUR BELIEF IN DEMOCRACY. WE WOUOLD BE NO BETTER THAN THEY ARE IF WE BEHAVE THIS WAY !

I'm at a loss as to how to punish him

Vengeance is Mine, saith the Lord. Do we want to give the Taliban the right to sit in judgement over treatment of women in the western world?

make him pay for all the damage he has caused so far. Then make pay compensation to everybody that was involved in the attacks.

make him wipe the ass of a 1000 woman with his bare hands and walk the streets with s**t all over himself then hang him public by his balls until its over

Life imprisonment with hard labor like the old days

Life in solitary confinement.

work in fields to produce food to feed his own people
